Kun vaihtajat asuvat eri paikkakunnilla posti on kätevä tapa toimittaa. Postipalvelun avulla saaja maksaa postimaksun Netcyclerin kautta ja lähettäjä lähettää etukäteen maksetun kirjeen tai paketin. Helppoa!
Postipalvelussa on kaksi vaihtoehtoa: kirjepalvelu tai postipaketti. Sopiva vaihtoehto riippuu tavaran koosta ja painosta. Tarkemmat tiedot mitoista ja painorajoista löytyvät tavaraa lisättäessä tai muokattaessa kohdasta “Toimitus”.
Kirjepalvelu
Netcyclerin kirjepalvelun avulla voi lähettää pienet lähetykset helposti. Vastaanottaja maksaa postimaksun (3,50 – 6,00 EUR) Netcyclerille, jonka jälkeen lähettäjä saa Netcyclerilta postitse etukäteen maksetun kirjekuoren. Lähettäjän tarvitsee vain pakata tavara kirjekuoreen ja viedä kirje lähimpään postilaatikkoon.
Kirjepalvelun kautta voi lähettää maksimissaan 1 kg painoisia kotimaan kirjeitä, joiden enimmäispaksuus on 3 cm. Alle 0,5 kilon kirjeen hinta on 3,50 EUR ja alle 1 kilon kirjeen 6,00 EUR.
Postipaketti
Netcyclerin ja Itellan yhteistyössä toteuttaman postipalvelun kautta voi lähettää paketit helposti. Vastaanottaja maksaa postimaksun (8,50 – 18,00 EUR) Netcyclerille, jonka jälkeen lähettäjän tulee pakata lähetys, tulostaa sähköpostiin saapuva Postin osoitekortti ja viedä paketti lähimpään postiin.
Postipakettina voit lähettää 0 – 35 kg painoisia kotimaan lähetyksiä. Esimerkiksi alle 2 kilon paketin hinta on 8,50 EUR.
Miten postipalvelu valitaan?
Lisätessä tavaraa palveluun määritellään toimitustapa, eli ainakin yksi tapaamispaikka ja halutessa myös postitus. Kun valitsee molemmat, vastaanottaja saa valita kummalla tavalla haluaa tavaran toimitettavaksi.
Kullekin tavaralle voi erikseen määritellä toimitustavan. Tähän asti tarjolla on ollut vain tapaamispaikka. Postitusvaihtoehdon voi nyt lisätä myös jo olemassa oleviin tavaroihin muokkaamalla ilmoitusta.
Koska postipalvelu kannattaa?
Kirjepalvelun käyttö kannattaa kevyille ja ohuille (max 3cm) tavaroille, postipaketti hyödyttää isompien ja arvokkaampien tavaroiden kanssa. Tavaran vaihtaminen tapaamispaikalla on edelleen paras vaihtoehto silloin, kun vaihtajat asuvat lähekkäin, kun vaihdettava tavara ei ole erityisen arvokas tai kun tavara on erityisen iso tai muotonsa takia hankala postittaa.
Ympäristön kannalta postipalvelu on huomattavasti parempi ratkaisu kuin yksityisautoilu. Yhden kirjeen toimittaminen tuottaa arviolta 35 grammaa hiilidioksidipäästöjä, ja saman verran päästöjä aiheutuu tavallisella autolla 200 metrin ajosta (lähde: Itella Annual Report 2007).

When trade partners live apart, using the post is convenient. Postal service allows the recipient to pay for the postage online so that the sender can just send the prepaid letter or package. Easy as that!
There are two kind of postal services: letter mail and post package. Choose the appropriate one according to item size and weight. Detailed instructions are found when adding or editing an offer.
Letter delivery service
Send small items conveniently with Netcycler’s Letter delivery service. The recipient pays the shipping charge (3,50€ – 6,00 EUR) to Netcycler and you get a prepaid envelope through mail. Pack the item to the envelope and take it to the nearest post box.
With Netcycler letter delivery service, you can send letters weighting up to 1 kg with maximum thickness of 3 cm. The price of a letter weighing less than 500 grams is 3,50 EUR and less than one kilo is 6,00 EUR.
Post package service
Post package is a service provided by Netcycler together with Itella. The recipient pays the shipping charge to Netcycler and you get a prepaid package card trough email. Print the package card, pack the shipment and take the package to the nearest post office.
With Netcycler package service, you can send packages weighting 0 – 35 kg. The price of a package weighing less than 2 kilos is 8,50 EUR.
How to choose the postal services?
When adding an offer you determine the delivery option: at least one Meetingpoint and the postal service if possible. The receiver chooses from the options given when accepting the trade.
Delivery options can be specified for each offer. Until now, Meetingpoints have been the only option. You can add the postal service option to your existing offers by editing offers.
When to use the postal services?
Using Letter delivery service suits light and flat items. The post package is good for bigger and more valuable items. Using the Meetingpoint is the best way to trade when traders live close, the item is not very valuable or when the item is difficult to post because of its size or shape.
In environmental sense, using the post is far better than using a private car. Delivering one letter generates an estimated 35 grams of carbon dioxide, where as an ordinary passenger car emits the same amount on a journey of 200 meters (source: Itella Annual Report 2007).
